Anker SOLIX Powers Up Australia’s Clean Energy Journey

Anker SOLIX Powers Up Australia’s Clean Energy Journey

On 9 April in Sydney, Anker SOLIX turned up the voltage at its inaugural Australia Showcase Day, unveiling a powerhouse portfolio of residential energy solutions designed to fuel Australia’s shift to clean, reliable and independent energy.

Under the banner Powering Australian Energy Independence, the event gathered over 100 movers and shakers – from installers and distributors to media and industry experts – all keen to get a first look at what Anker SOLIX is bringing to the table.

And it didn’t disappoint.

Setting the scene for solar storage success
John Grimes, CEO of the Smart Energy Council, made a special appearance to back Anker SOLIX’s entrance into the Australian market.

“This is a brand with global experience, quality products, and now, a growing local footprint,” said John Grimes, CEO of the Smart Energy Council.

He called out the Federal Government’s $2.3 billion Cheaper Home Batteries Program as a “game changer”, one that will turbocharge battery adoption and solar upgrades across the country. Anker SOLIX, he said, is perfectly placed to ride that wave.

Built for Aussie homes – and Aussie conditions
Symons Xie, Global General Manager of Anker SOLIX Home Energy Solutions, laid out the company’s ambition loud and clear:

“Solar storage is more than just a product — it’s a commitment to a sustainable future,” Xie said.

With this mission front and centre, the company launched its X1 series – a purpose-built energy storage system tailored to handle Australia’s varied climate and evolving household energy needs.
The X1 line includes AC-coupled, hybrid single-phase, and three-phase systems – all fully CEC-listed and ready to roll. With high scalability and excellent environmental durability, the system is a plug-and-play solution that’s as tough as it is techy.

“Anker SOLIX offers dependable, efficient, and future-ready solutions,” Xie added. “Our upgraded system design helps minimise energy loss and boosts performance in any setting.”

Making clean energy more accessible
Senior Business Development Manager Sachin Sardana took to the stage to walk attendees through the finer details of the X1 and Anker’s portable power station range.

“With a broad lineup of hybrid solutions, we’re helping more Australian households tap into renewable energy,” said Sardana. “Whether they’re retrofitting an old system or starting from scratch, this is about making sustainable energy accessible to everyone.”

And that’s not just talk. Anker SOLIX has already earned the trust of both installers and consumers on the ground.

Backed by solar experts and influencers
Tech YouTuber Sam Evans – better known as The Electric Viking – spoke candidly about why he backs Anker SOLIX. His verdict? It’s all about reliability and performance.

He was joined by Leigh Storr, CEO of RESINC Solar, one of the country’s most awarded solar companies. Storr echoed the Viking’s sentiment, adding that Anker SOLIX is a brand that delivers real value and quality – both vital in a market where trust and long-term performance matter.

Their endorsement is a major win for the company, as it builds momentum and trust with local households.

Strategic partnerships spark new possibilities
Anker SOLIX also announced two major strategic partnerships during the event. OSW and Blue Sun Group – two of Australia’s largest solar distributors – have signed on to help bring Anker’s innovations to more rooftops across the country.
Elliot Shen, Anker SOLIX ANZ General Manager, said the partnerships are grounded in a shared goal: to fast-track clean energy adoption with high-quality, affordable solutions backed by Anker’s global expertise.

“Together, we’re making clean energy more achievable for Australian families,” Shen said.

A retail first: Experience store opens in Melbourne
If all that wasn’t enough, Anker also celebrated the grand opening of its first Australian experience store, located at Chadstone in Melbourne. The flagship space brings together products from across the Anker family – including Anker SOLIX, Eufy, Soundcore and Nebula.

It’s more than just a retail outlet – the store includes a hands-on training zone, offering customers the chance to learn about the tech and get confident with it.

“Our aim is to empower customers to lead smarter lives,” said a spokesperson. “That means giving them tools, knowledge and support – not just tech in a box.”

Final thoughts
With premium products, powerhouse partnerships, and a strong sense of purpose, Anker SOLIX is charging into the Aussie clean energy market with gusto. From backyard batteries to portable power, the brand is making its mark by delivering sustainable solutions that are tough, smart, and built to go the distance.

Looks like Australia’s path to energy independence just got a serious upgrade.
