ASOT Solar Partners with Suneregy to Boost India’s Solar Module Manufacturing to 800 MW

ASOT Solar, one of India’s fast-growing solar module manufacturers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Suneregy, China, to forge a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing solar module manufacturing capacity and technology in India.

Through this collaboration, both companies will jointly focus on integrating advanced cell and module technologies, optimizing processes, and expanding high-efficiency solar module production to 800 MW annually.

The partnership emphasizes technology transfer, material innovation, and manufacturing excellence to produce world-class solar modules that comply with India’s ALMM standards. This initiative aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat vision by boosting local value addition and accelerating clean-energy deployment.

“This collaboration marks a significant step towards building globally competitive solar manufacturing capabilities in India,” said Mr. Kaushik Chitaliya, Founder & Managing Director of ASOT Solar. “By combining Suneregy’s technological expertise with ASOT’s manufacturing excellence and ALMM certification, we aim to deliver next-generation solar modules to Indian and global markets.”

The partnership is anticipated to enhance production efficiency, lower project costs, and generate new employment opportunities within India’s renewable energy sector.
