BattRE Electric Mobility has introduced its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution in Jaipur through a partnership with Battery Smart, the top battery-swapping network for electric two- and three-wheelers in India.
To support sustainable mobility initiatives, BattRE has partnered with Beez Electric in deploying over 1,000 BattRE e-scooters into the B2B and B2C space, which includes complete battery-swapping technology by Battery Smart. The swap stations allow Beez Electric riders to utilize battery swapping through over 100 Battery Smart swap stations throughout Jaipur, eliminating the need to worry about long-term charging. Riders can now experience battery swapping in less than two minutes after swapping a discharged battery for a fully charged one. The quick exchange ultimately improves operational efficiency, fleet uptime, and rider convenience.
This effort will strategically allow Beez Electric customers the ability to experience battery swapping anywhere in the city that has a Battery Smart swap station, thus eliminating any downtime waiting on charging. The fast and easy battery swapping experience ultimately elevates fleet efficiency, uptime, and convenience for riders. Through this partnership, BattRE Electric Mobility and Battery Smart are bringing a new standard to fleet electrification and are seeking to further bolster Jaipur’s reputation as a valuable electric mobility hub in the region.
“With Battery Smart’s extensive swapping infrastructure, our Beez customers can now swap batteries at over 100 stations across Jaipur, ensuring uninterrupted rides and maximizing vehicle utilization. This partnership reflects our commitment to making EV adoption easier, more economical, and scalable for both individual riders and fleet operators,” said Nishchal Chaudhary, CEO & Managing Director, BattRE Electric Mobility.
The partnership offers many benefits for urban mobility in Jaipur. For fleet operators like Beez Electric, it will mean greater operational efficiency and better economics because the vehicles will spend more time on the road rather than charging. The customers will benefit from the reliability and convenience that comes from having a widespread swap station network reducing range anxiety. In addition, the initiative supports environmental goals by helping decrease the city’s carbon footprint and reliance on fossil-fuel-based transport.
Moving forward, BattRE and Battery Smart plan on further extending the deployment model. Jaipur will act as a pilot city, and both companies plan to have a national deployment of battery-swapping solutions across fleets as well as cities in 2026.
