BillionE Mobility, a leading E-Mobility-as-a-Service platform, has successfully raised $25 million in growth capital through a combination of equity and debt financing to scale its electric truck operations across India’s industrial corridors. The funding round was supported by ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and financial institutions, including the State Bank of India.
Fleet Expansion and Operational Plans
The capital will support the deployment of over 500 electric trucks during the 2026–27 financial year, alongside investments in fleet management systems and technology infrastructure. Over the next two to three years, BillionE Mobility plans to expand its fleet to 1,500 trucks, contingent on customer demand and financing arrangements. The expanded fleet will serve sectors such as cement, automotive, third-party logistics, metals, FMCG, chemicals, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and minerals, focusing on routes with predictable patterns and high vehicle utilization.
Technological Edge and Platform Integration
BillionE Mobility combines electric vehicles, fleet management technology, and charging infrastructure to enable zero-emission commercial transportation. Its affiliated company, ChargeZone, one of India’s largest EV charging networks, is developing charging infrastructure along industrial corridors to support the expanded operations. The platform has achieved 120% year-over-year growth, and electric trucks in the 19-tonne and 55-tonne categories have reached total cost of ownership parity with diesel vehicles on certain routes.
Strategic Vision and Environmental Impact
“We are moving beyond pilots to scaled, real-world deployments where execution, reliability, and economics matter most,” said Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO and co-founder of BillionE Mobility.
Kartikey Hariyani, founder and chief platform architect, highlighted that the funding will accelerate fleet expansion, strengthen operational readiness, and deepen partnerships with customers committed to decarbonising their logistics.
The initiative is expected to reduce tailpipe emissions, lower carbon intensity in freight operations, and drive India’s transition to sustainable, zero-emission commercial transportation. By integrating electric trucks, advanced fleet management, and charging solutions, BillionE Mobility aims to become a pivotal player in decarbonizing mid-mile and long-haul logistics in India.
