Bondada Engineering Secures ₹125.30 crore for 75 MW solar power plant in Gujarat

Bondada Engineering has received new orders worth ₹125.30 crore for Balance of System (BOS) components that will be needed in the construction of a 75 MW solar power plant in Khavda, Gujarat. These orders have been placed by leading companies within the Adani group, namely Adani Green Energy Ltd., Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd., and Ambuja Cements Ltd.

These orders will play a pivotal role in strengthening Bondada Engineering’s pipeline and financial forecasts for the coming quarter. These orders will bring the executed capacity of Adani by Bondada Engineering to 725 MW. The projects are expected to be executed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of order.

Previously, Bondada Engineering secured a 650 MW supply order for a solar power project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. Under the scope of work, Bondada Engineering was expected to supply goods for the Balance of System (BOS) and installation services for the 650 MW solar project.

In addition, the success in winning such contracts is indicative of the firm’s increased involvement and capacity in the fast-growing sector of renewable energy in India. Given that Bondada Engineering has significant experience in basic design, engineering, and EPC services, it is likely that this will allow the firm to leverage the increasing emphasis on solar energy and sustainability in the country.

The rise in orders comes on the back of strong financial results from Bondada Engineering. For the FY26, the company witnessed an increase in revenues by 81.0%, along with a massive 86.5% gain in profits after tax. On the last date of March 2026, the order book of the firm was ₹71,475 million, highlighting the high demand for its products in its key segments, which include solar energy, telecom, and railways. The company also made strategic moves, such as acquiring Speck Systems Limited in March 2025.
