Boyd Presents Innovations in Thermal Safety at Battery Show Europe 2025

Boyd, a pioneer in thermal runaway containment and battery thermal propagation avoidance, will have an exhibit at The Battery Show Europe, which will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from June 3–5, 2025.

Experts from Boyd will be there to talk about how its battery technology safely and proactively stop and manage battery thermal runaway incidents. Boyd uses multipurpose, intricate solutions made for cell-to-cell applications that dissipate cell heat, absorb impact, vibration, and movement, and serve as a barrier to swiftly isolate extreme heat or flame in the unlikely event that battery safety design features are unable to stop the spread of cell-to-cell thermal runaway. Boyd technologies avoid catastrophic battery damage, minimize battery overheating, enable quicker charge and discharge cycles, and maintain uniform temperatures across the cells. Additionally, specialists will be on hand to talk about how clients may take advantage of Boyd’s brand-new, cutting-edge Battery Material Safety Lab, which was revealed last month. As a one-stop shop for integrated thermal runaway avoidance technology design, validation, and manufacturing, Boyd is assisting clients in safely accelerating battery design and time-to-market.
