Cenntro partners with Electricove Maroc to assemble and distribute EVs across Morocco and North Africa with local support.

Leading electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Cenntro Inc., which produces state-of-the-art, market-tested, and purpose-built vehicles, and Electricove Maroc, an electric vehicle distributor with its headquarters in Casablanca and incorporation under Moroccan law, have signed a strategic partnership agreement. Under the terms of the strategic partnership agreement, Electricove will construct Cenntro’s electric vehicles (“EVs”) in Morocco and distribute them throughout the local and Northern African markets. For many years, Cenntro has had Electricove as a distribution partner.

As stipulated in the strategic partnership agreement, Cenntro consents to provide Electricove with car assembly kits. In exchange, Electricove consents to set up a nearby assembly facility to put Cenntro EV models—such as the Teemak and LS450—together. Additionally, Cenntro consents to help Electricove build local assembly capabilities by offering engineering support, assembly training, and technical documentation.

Electricove has communicated to us that the program has gained great backing from both government officials and business organizations within Morocco.

“Cenntro’s collaboration with Electricove Maroc builds on a longstanding relationship with Electricove and represents a significant step in supporting EV deployment in the region,” stated Peter Wang, Chairman and CEO of Cenntro. “We’re pleased to support Electricove with technical resources and expertise as they expand assembly operations.”
