The Florida Solar Energy Industry Association (FlaSEIA) has presented two distinguished honors to CKR Solar, a prominent home solar contractor with headquarters in the Tampa region of Florida, in recognition of their inventiveness, skill, and dedication to resilient sustainable energy.
For their 31.16 kW residential solar and storage project in St. Petersburg, Florida, which was finished in 2024, CKR Solar was awarded both the Residential PV Installation Award and the Residential Battery Installation Award. In order to provide smooth power dependability and storm resistance, the award-winning installation includes 76 Silfab solar modules manufactured in the United States, three Tesla Powerwall units totaling 54 kWh of storage, and a SPAN load control system.
“This project exemplifies our mission to deliver not only high-performance solar energy systems but also energy independence and security for Florida homeowners,” stated Christopher Rollitt, CEO of CKR Solar. “We’re honored to be recognized by FlaSEIA for a project that represents the future of residential solar + storage in hurricane-prone regions.”
In order to guarantee optimal efficiency, longevity, and aesthetic integration, the system was completely incorporated into the building process and finished concurrently with the home’s construction. The project showcases CKR Solar’s innovative approach to solar technology and energy storage, with a focus on hurricane-resilient engineering.
The yearly awards from FlaSEIA honor excellence in Florida’s solar sector by honoring businesses that lead in impact, design, and innovation. The company’s technological know-how and continuous commitment to clean, dependable, and resilient energy solutions are demonstrated by CKR Solar’s two victories.
