Delta Electronics India, a leader in power management and smart green solutions, has officially commenced the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The groundbreaking ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru M.K. Stalin, who also unveiled a state-of-the-art smart manufacturing facility at the event.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister expressed his appreciation, stating, “I wholeheartedly appreciate Delta Electronics’ outstanding contribution to the industrial development of the Hosur region. I am particularly delighted about the inauguration of your factory’s new automated production line and its latest expansion. Tamil Nadu stands as India’s leading electronics manufacturing and export hub, and I am confident that our collaboration between Delta Electronics and the Government of Tamil Nadu will further strengthen the state’s growth.”

The Krishnagiri campus, which covers more than 95 acres, has over 3,800 staff members as of September 2025, and is a major manufacturing center of Delta. The site focuses on the manufacture of high-efficiency power supplies, DC brushless fans, telecom power systems, industrial automation systems, data center infrastructure, and electric mobility products. Another two factory buildings, which are under development, will increase the production capacity to open to the domestic and international markets.
The new smart manufacturing line uses Delta Inline Management Solution Line Manager, which allows automated changeover of production lines and makes smart decisions based on the data with real-time smart line configuration, equipment management and materials logistics coordination. This high-tech line combines the Delta industrial automation solutions, including 6-axis articulated robots, 4-axis SCARA robots, servo motion systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and industrial switching networks, which have led to as much as 95 percent productivity improvement in power supply production of home appliances.
As per the global sustainability strategy of Delta, the Krishnagiri plant uses as much as 53 percent renewable energy sources, with a 6.9 MWp Solar system on the roof and a procurement of wind power. Water conservation is facilitated with the help of a 1,800 KLD water treatment plant and rainwater harvesting facilities, and waste management is under the CPCB-certified standards.
