Delta Electronics India has announced an agreement to supply 100 units of its Make-in-India 1.1 MW bi-directional Power Conditioning Systems (PCS), amounting to a total capacity of 110 MW, to Prostarm Info Systems Ltd for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across India.
The PCS units will be deployed across multiple utility-scale energy storage projects, including those undertaken by Bihar State Power Generation Company Ltd (BSPGCL) and Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML). The collaboration is aimed at strengthening renewable energy integration, grid stability, and overall energy resilience through the deployment of advanced energy infrastructure across both metropolitan and regional markets.
Commenting on the development, Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India, said, “India’s energy transition journey calls for strong collaborations that combine global technology leadership with local market expertise. Through this engagement with Prostarm for AEML’s BESS initiative, Delta reaffirms its commitment to building long-term and customer-centric collaborations that support the nation’s sustainable growth. This initiative marks the largest-scale deployment so far of our made-in-India power conditioning systems for the country’s fast-evolving energy storage sector.”
Under the agreement, Prostarm will deploy the bi-directional PCS units across several projects, including AEML’s 11 MW/22 MWh BESS project in Mumbai and standalone BESS projects being developed under the Battery Energy Storage Solution Power Developer (BESSPD) mode in the state of Bihar.
