Enphase Energy has unveiled the 7.08 kW IQ Battery 10C, a fourth-generation energy system that provides 10 kWh of useful energy. The battery, which is manufactured by a contract manufacturer in the United States, broadens the company’s storage portfolio.
With a brand-new, larger battery known as the IQ Battery 10C, Enphase Energy has announced the release of its fourth-generation Enphase Energy System.
The battery provides 7.08 kW of continuous power and 10 kWh of useful energy. The business claims that because it has about 34% higher energy density than the previous model, it uses less wall space and has a substantially smaller footprint.
For durability and safety, the IQ Battery 10C uses lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry. Neutral-forming microinverters that are integrated into the device also offer backup capabilities and minimize internal hardware. According to Enphase, the goal of this design is to improve the frequency of single-day deployments while making installation simpler.
In terms of round-trip efficiency, the 10C is 96% in DC and 90% in AC. According to Enphase, its lifting weight is 57 kg, and its overall weight is 144 kg.
