Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd (EIEL) has secured new orders worth over ₹2,240 crore since March 2026, significantly strengthening its total order book to more than ₹4,600 crore and enhancing revenue visibility over the next 15–24 months. Following the announcement, the company’s shares rose 1.19% to ₹216.25. A big part of the order flow is EIEL’s entry into the BESS market.
Strong order inflow across diversified segments
The new orders cover a wide range of business areas, such as water, wastewater, and renewable energy. About ₹1,170 crore of the total comes from water and wastewater projects, and more than ₹1,070 crore comes from the renewable energy sector.
These projects are expected to be executed within 15 to 24 months, supporting revenue visibility of around ₹2,000 crore over the next two years and reinforcing the company’s growth outlook.
Entry into battery energy storage marks strategic shift
A big part of the order flow is EIEL’s entry into the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) market. The company has won four projects from NTPC worth about ₹1,070 crore, with a total capacity of 930 MWh.
These projects will be carried out in Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Karnataka, and Telangana. They are a strategic move into energy storage and will make the company stronger in the renewable energy value chain.
Infrastructure projects under government programmes
In its core water infrastructure business, EIEL has secured a ₹411 crore project from the Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation under AMRUT 2.0 in Aurangabad. Additionally, the company has won projects worth around ₹972 crore in Maharashtra under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0, including works in Pune and Nashik.
Leadership commentary and outlook
Commenting on the development, Sanjay Jain, Chairman, said, “The steady inflow of orders across our core and emerging business segments reflects our execution capabilities and strategic focus on high-growth infrastructure areas. Our entry into the BESS segment marks an important milestone in diversifying our portfolio, while our strong presence in water and wastewater continues to drive stable growth.”
He added that the company now has clear visibility of revenues of around ₹2,000 crore over the next two years.
Enviro Infra Engineers, an established EPC player with over 15 years of experience, continues to benefit from strong sectoral tailwinds, including increased government spending on water infrastructure and rising investments in renewable energy and storage solutions.
