Exponent Energy Launches Next-Gen P4 EV Charger with 15-Minute Rapid Charging

Exponent Energy is the latest and most advanced technology startup in India, introducing the new product P4 EV Charger, which gives a full charge within 15 minutes. This innovative charging technology will focus on fueling the EV proliferation trend by ensuring its user has the least downtime possible without compromising battery health.

The P4 charger incorporates highly sophisticated liquid cooling technology to maintain battery temperatures within a safe range, producing durability and a 3,000+ cycle battery warranty, unlike conventional fast-charging technology. At only 400 mm wide and with a power output of 40 KW, it is a scalable, affordable, and interoperable solution for a broad range of electric vehicles.

Such is not the case with high-voltage chargers elsewhere in the world, but Exponent is designing its P4 to be compatible with standardized lithium-ion cells, offering blistering charging without special battery chemistry. Another special feature in this tech stack is the dynamic battery management tool that adapts the charging according to current conditions of each cell to maximize life and performance.

The P4 charger by Exponent Energy will transform the charging experience of users at public and fleet charging stations as fast, reliable, and sustainable EV charging becomes accessible to everyone through their charging infrastructure in urban and rural environments across India.
