Hoymiles has introduced the HIS-(3–6)L-G3 hybrid inverter series, a next-generation single-phase solution developed to support the changing energy needs of modern homes. The new system is designed to act as the central component of a home energy ecosystem by integrating solar power generation, battery storage, and grid connectivity.
The inverter series is available in 3 kW to 6 kW capacity options and is designed to deliver strong performance, flexible scalability, and improved system visibility for homeowners and installers.
According to the company, “Engineered for real-world residential installations, the inverter serves as the central hub of an intelligent home energy ecosystem, seamlessly integrating solar generation, battery storage, and grid connectivity.”
Real-Time Monitoring and Built-In Display
The HIS-(3–6)L-G3S model includes a built-in display that provides real-time system information directly on the device. This allows installers and homeowners to quickly view key system parameters.
The company said, “The HIS-(3–6)L-G3S model has a built-in display that gives installers and homeowners quick access to real-time system data. This lets them check the PV input, battery status, grid connection, and load output right on the unit.”
This on-device interface helps simplify the commissioning process and allows easier routine checks, improving transparency in system operations.
Cloud-Based Monitoring and Scalable Design
The S-Miles Cloud platform works perfectly with the hybrid inverter, which lets you monitor, diagnose, and track performance from anywhere. The onboard display and cloud connectivity work together to give both technicians and homeowners a full view of what’s going on.
The system is also designed for easy installation. It features a slim 99 mm profile, a wall-mounted structure, and a quick configuration process that can be completed in about five minutes. Additionally, the system allows parallel operation of up to 10 units, enabling residential energy systems to expand as household power needs grow.
Advanced Energy Management Features
The inverter has two MPPT inputs and a start-up voltage of 100 V, so it can work well even when the sun isn’t shining very brightly. It also has an AI-powered Energy Management System (EMS) that can work in different ways.
According to the company, the EMS supports self-consumption, peak shaving, and time-of-use optimization, helping households maximise energy efficiency and reduce electricity costs.
The system also has UPS-level backup with no latency, 200% surge capacity for inductive loads, and IP66-rated protection, so it will work reliably in homes.
With the launch of the HIS-(3–6)L-G3 hybrid inverter series, Hoymiles aims to further strengthen its portfolio of smart and scalable residential energy solutions designed for modern home energy systems.
