Hoymiles has become the first microinverter company in India to receive certification from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), securing one of the country’s highest benchmarks for energy efficiency.
The certification comes at a time when India’s residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar segments are witnessing strong growth, creating significant opportunities for advanced inverter technologies such as microinverters.
Hoymiles said the BEE certification reinforces customer confidence in the performance, safety and long-term reliability of its products as solar adoption accelerates across the country.
The company has played a key role in increasing the accessibility of microinverter technology in India by offering products at competitive prices. While microinverters have long been recognised for advantages such as improved safety, module-level optimisation and higher energy efficiency, cost has traditionally been viewed as a major barrier in the Indian market.
Alongside its microinverter portfolio, Hoymiles also offers string inverter solutions that have already been deployed across multiple projects in India. The company has further expanded into energy storage solutions in recent months as it broadens its clean energy offerings in the market.
As part of its outreach efforts, Hoymiles launched a dedicated promotional truck campaign that travelled across several regions in India to showcase its products and raise awareness about solar power and renewable energy technologies.
The latest certification is expected to strengthen the company’s position in India’s rapidly growing distributed solar market, particularly as consumers and businesses increasingly prioritise energy efficiency and system reliability.
