Hoymiles Secures India’s Largest‑Ever 360 MW Microinverter Supply Deal with KOSOL Energie

Hoymiles Power Electronics Inc., a world leader in smart solar and energy storage, has entered into a historic agreement with KOSOL Energie Pvt. Ltd. to provide 360MW of HMS-2000D-4T microinverters, which the company claims is the single largest microinverter purchase in the Indian market to date.

Advanced Microinverter Technology

Under the agreement, Hoymiles will supply its high-performance HMS-2000D-4T microinverters, which is one of the best-selling models and is specifically designed for the Indian solar market. The HMS-2000D-4T microinverter comes with a cost-effective 4-in-1 solution that combines four PV input channels with a 2000 VA output, thus reducing the overall system cost. The microinverter comes with two MPPTs and has an industry-leading peak efficiency of 96.5%, ensuring maximum solar power output. The Sub-1G wireless communication module enables stable and long-distance data transmission, while meeting the strictest safety and EMC standards with an IP67 rating.

Strategic Partnership and Market Impact

Commenting on the milestone agreement, Piyush Sharma, Channel Business Director of Hoymiles India, said, “The landmark 360 MW microinverter deal between Hoymiles and Kosol Energie marks a pivotal moment for Hoymiles expansion in India. This collaboration opens new avenues for executing large‑scale projects across the country with state‑of‑the‑art microinverter technology.” He added, “As India’s first and largest‑ever deal for any microinverter company, it will significantly support India’s rooftop solar (RTS) growth by enabling the execution of best‑in‑class, high‑quality solar projects nationwide.”

Strengthening India’s Solar Ecosystem

Hoymiles currently supports several solar systems in India, such as a 100 kW solar system in Guruvayur, Thrissur (Kerala), and has an impressive global footprint in the US, Europe, and the Middle East. Hoymiles’ financial and operational stability aligns well with the requirements of large-scale project developers. Hoymiles’ microinverter product portfolio, comprising both 2-in-1 and 4-in-1 models, reduces installation and per-watt costs, making it more affordable for residential as well as commercial solar users.

Hoymiles also offers comprehensive support through a global technical service centre available 24/7, with an average turnaround time of two days, backed by a local technical team to assist on‑ground service requests.
