Indian Green & Battery Stocks Roundup – October 24

India’s green energy and battery stocks kicked off the month with a largely positive session on September 1, 2025, as investor interest in clean-tech counters remained strong. Notable gains were seen in CLN Energy Ltd. and HBL Engineering Ltd., highlighting sustained confidence in India’s renewable and energy storage sector. While a few counters showed mild corrections, the overall sentiment remained upbeat.

CLN Energy Ltd. was the day’s top performer, surging 4.63% to ₹587, driven by optimism around its renewable energy projects and strong investor interest in India’s clean energy transition. HBL Engineering Ltd. followed closely, rising 3.96% to ₹839.1, supported by robust demand for its power and energy storage solutions.

Exide Industries also posted healthy gains, climbing 4.04% to ₹412.25, while Eveready Industries India Ltd. rose 2.73% to ₹433.05. Amara Raja Energy added 2.17% to ₹1011.7, benefiting from ongoing institutional interest in its lithium-ion and EV-ready battery operations.

On the other hand, High Energy Batteries slipped 0.16% to ₹666.05, reflecting minor profit-booking in the advanced battery segment. Panasonic Energy India declined 0.54% to ₹343.9, while Indo-National Ltd. rose 1.73% to ₹470.45. Tata Power added 1.71% to ₹380.55, maintaining steady investor interest in leading renewable energy enterprises. Waaree Technologies inched up 0.35% to ₹290, showing continued consolidation.

Analysts note that despite short-term fluctuations in individual counters, India’s green energy and battery basket remains well-supported by rising EV adoption, strong government policy frameworks, and growing demand for grid-scale energy storage solutions. Technology-focused, future-ready enterprises continue to attract attention from both institutional and retail investors.
