INOX Air Products Private Limited (INOXAP) has entered into a long-term partnership with TACC Limited (The Advanced Carbons Company) to supply nitrogen through a dedicated onsite nitrogen plant. The facility will be installed at TACC’s upcoming greenfield manufacturing unit in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
The nitrogen plant will be developed on a Build, Own, and Operate (BOO) basis. This model will ensure a steady, safe and high-purity nitrogen supply in line with TACC’s production requirements.
The supplied nitrogen will be used to support the manufacturing of lithium-ion battery-grade graphite anode material. TACC is a leading player in advanced carbon materials and focuses on producing battery-grade synthetic graphite anodes for electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems. The company is also developing graphene-based derivatives for applications across construction, textiles, paints and other industrial sectors.
Strengthening Clean Energy Supply Chains
INOXAP has been actively supporting India’s clean energy manufacturing ecosystem. Earlier, the company signed a long-term agreement to supply ultra-high purity (UHP) nitrogen to Grew Energy’s upcoming 3 GW Solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh.
INOXAP also entered into a long-term agreement with ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited to supply UHP nitrogen for its TOPCON solar cell manufacturing plant in Dholera, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. As part of that project, INOXAP is investing in a state-of-the-art Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Dholera to ensure uninterrupted supply.
