Inox Wind Ltd. (IWL), one of India’s leading wind energy solutions providers, has secured a 102.3 MW supply order from ABREL EPC Ltd, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Renewables Ltd (ABReL). The order, for the supply of 3.3 MW wind turbine generators, is for renewable energy projects being developed by ABREL EPC Ltd in Karnataka. This is the first time Aditya Birla Renewables has awarded a project to Inox Wind, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expanding portfolio of clients.
Commenting on the development, Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO of Inox Wind Ltd, said, “ABReL has large-scale plans to set up and deliver long-term clean energy solutions to its customers, and we are pleased to be part of ABREL’s mission to drive India’s energy transition and achieve its decarbonisation and sustainability targets. He added that this and other repeat orders underscore the company’s strong product and service capabilities, which are expected to support sustained growth in the renewable energy sector.
