Insolation Green Energy Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy Ltd., announces a significant milestone in its growth journey. The company has successfully secured a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term operation of three grid-connected solar power plants under the PM-KUSUM Component A Scheme.
This achievement marks a major step forward in advancing the government’s clean energy mission and reinforces Insolation Green Energy’s commitment to driving sustainable energy solutions across India.
These projects consist of 25 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plants since the commencement of commissioning and provision of 11 KV lines, which will link the plants to other 33/11 KV substations and also a remote monitoring system that would enable effective management of the plants.
Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) and Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVNL) were the awardees of the LOIs to 20 and 115 sites, respectively, with an overall combined capacity of 226.45 MW. These levelized tariffs on these projects have been completed at Rs. 3.04 per unit of 16 sites, 2.82 per unit of 5 sites, 2.75 per unit of 53 sites, and 2.60 per unit of 61 sites. It is estimated that these solar plants will produce about 36.23 crore units of electricity in one year and this will translate to a revenue of Rs. 98.47 crore every year. The total capital needed to install the 226.45 MW capacity is roughly 750crore comprising GST.
The projects will be implemented by the financial year 2026-27, all of which will be purely domestic and are likely to play a major role in achieving the renewable energy targets in India.
