The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has announced significant senior-level appointments aimed at enhancing its financial management, corporate governance, and risk management framework.
Tusarkant Parida has joined IREDA as Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), while Jagdeep Singh has assumed charge as General Manager (Finance & Accounts). In addition, the Board of Directors, in its meeting on December 30, appointed Singh as Head of Internal Audit and Internal Auditor, with his tenure effective from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028, or until further orders. This follows the superannuation of A. Chandrashekar, who previously headed the Internal Audit function.
Jagdeep Singh is a Commerce graduate (Honours) from Delhi University and a Member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India (ICMAI). He brings over 27 years of experience across both public and private sector organizations, including BSNL, Tata Communications, Airtel, Idea Cellular, and Aircel.
Tusarkant Parida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) from Utkal University and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). With more than 24 years of experience, he has served leading organizations such as Power Finance Corporation, Corporation Bank, BSNL, and SRB & Associates.
Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of IREDA, welcomed the appointments, stating, “These appointments reflect IREDA’s continued focus on strengthening financial discipline, ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance, and enhancing risk management. The experience and leadership brought in by these officers will support IREDA’s growing role in financing India’s renewable energy transition.”
The appointments have been made in accordance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, ensuring full compliance with disclosure requirements and regulatory norms.
These leadership additions are expected to strengthen IREDA’s financial operations and audit framework, positioning the organization to continue supporting India’s renewable energy financing ecosystem effectively.
