Orient Green Power Company Ltd’s renewable arm Delta Renewable Energy has awarded a significant Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract worth approximately ₹99.42 crore to Remon Solutions Private Limited for the development of 17.60 MW AC (24.64 MW DC) solar power projects in Tamil Nadu.
According to a regulatory filing, the Rights Issue Committee of the Board approved the contract, which was executed on December 29, 2025 between Delta Renewable Energy and Remon Solutions. The projects will be developed on a turnkey EPC basis at one or more locations in Vandavasi Taluk and Chetpet Taluk of Thiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu.
Under the agreement, Remon Solutions is responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and delivery of the solar installations. The projects are targeted for completion on or before May 31, 2026.
The move marks another step in Delta Renewable Energy’s expansion in the solar segment, complementing its established wind power portfolio. Earlier this month, the company’s subsidiary commissioned a 7 MW AC solar project in Tamil Nadu, broadening its clean energy footprint in the region.
Orient Green Power Company entered the solar power generation space through Delta Renewable Energy with a 25 MW AC solar initiative, partially funded through a rights issue. Delta is also in the process of securing additional land parcels to implement the remaining 18 MW AC capacity under this programme.
The EPC award to Remon Solutions underlines continued growth momentum in India’s solar energy sector, particularly in regional markets like Tamil Nadu, which remain key to meeting the country’s renewable energy targets.
