JCBL South has successfully manufactured and delivered 1,000 20-foot CSC-certified containers to US-based energy major GE Vernova. The entire order was produced in India and exported to the United States as part of a large-scale international project.

According to the company, the containers were built for GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions division and will be used to house Flex Inverter systems. These systems are an important part of hybrid renewable power stations, which support the integration of solar, wind, and other clean energy sources into the power grid.

The project was fully executed at JCBL South’s Oragadam facility, covering every stage of production in-house. This included design, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing, and final dispatch. The company ensured that all units met strict global standards for quality, safety, and performance required for international energy infrastructure projects.

To handle the large order efficiently, JCBL South set up a dedicated production line. The company also improved its production planning systems during execution, which helped streamline workflows and reduce rework. This enabled timely delivery while maintaining consistent quality across all 1,000 units.

Company officials highlighted that the project reflects India’s growing capability in advanced manufacturing for global clean energy needs. It also positions JCBL South as a strong partner in the renewable energy supply chain.

Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director of JCBL Group, noted that India is increasingly being recognized as a reliable manufacturing hub for global clean energy infrastructure. He added that the GE Vernova order demonstrates the scale and quality Indian companies can now achieve.

Sandip Chakroborty, Managing Director of JCBL South, said the project required building specialized capabilities and training teams for complex operations. He emphasized that completing the order on time and within global standards reflects the strength of the company’s engineering and execution teams.

This milestone marks a significant step for JCBL South in the global renewable energy manufacturing space.
