Jignesh Rathod Elevated as CEO & Whole-Time Director at Waaree Group

Jignesh Rathod has been appointed as the CEO and Whole-Time Director of Waaree Group, effective March 21, 2026. Having been associated with the organization for nearly two decades, he now steps into this leadership role after serving as CEO-Designate, marking a significant milestone in the company’s leadership transition.

Dr. Rathod will be in charge of the next phase of the company’s growth in his new role. He will focus on expanding the company around the world and making operations more efficient. His job is to help Waaree’s long-term strategy, run large-scale manufacturing operations, and speed up the use of new solar technologies. These efforts aim to further solidify the company’s position as a leader in the renewable energy sector.

Dr. Rathod brings with him 19 years of extensive experience, most of which has been spent at Waaree Energies. Since joining the company in November 2007, he has played a crucial role in its transformation from a growing enterprise into a globally recognized solar manufacturing company.

He was in charge of a number of important projects that improved the company’s manufacturing as the Director of Operations. He played a big role in upgrading production facilities and adding new automation technologies to make them work better and get more done. His leadership has always made the company run better and helped it make more products to meet demand around the world.

Dr. Rathod knows a lot about both solar manufacturing and project management, and he also has a lot of academic knowledge in Business Administration. This unique combination of work and school experience makes him a good choice to lead Waaree Energies into its next stage of growth and new ideas.

His elevation reflects Waaree’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and ensuring continuity in leadership as the company continues to expand its footprint in the global renewable energy market.
