Jitendra EV Adopts LECCS Connector for JMT 1000 SW

For its JMT 1000 SW electric scooter, Jitendra EV has revealed that it has adopted the LECCS (Light Electric Combined Charging System) connector. Light-electric vehicle (LEV) charging connectors are specifically made for them by LECCS, an Indian design. Customers of Jitendra EVs will be able to utilize Ather’s fast-charging network thanks to this adoption, which will promote the expansion of electric vehicles in India.

The JMT 1000 SW model will be able to use AtherGrid fast-charging stations thanks to the inclusion of LECCS. The JMT 1000 SW has alloy wheels, tubeless tires, front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, a payload capacity of 150 kg, and a gross vehicle weight of 255 kg. with a 175 mm ground clearance.

The Energy Company battery powers the JMT 1000 SW, which has a 100 km range on a single charge and takes 50 minutes to fully charge. It has a cluster display with functions like fault finding indicator, heat propagation alert, battery % indication, time to charge, and distance to empty. Reverse gear, three speed levels, and a USB charging connector are additional features.

Ather’s fast-charging network is currently only compatible with the JMT 1000 SW, but Jitendra EV intends to expand support for more models in the future. After a successful pilot program in Goa, Jitendra EV is now advancing with commercial production to bring this technology to consumers across the country.
