Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the electric commercial vehicle segment of Jupiter Wagons Limited, has officially entered the Telangana market with the opening of its first showroom in New Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Hyderabad. The launch is part of the regional expansion program of the company as it aims to create a solid foothold in Southern India.
The new showroom features the full line-up of JEM TEZ, the company flagship product, a 1.05-ton, 4-wheel electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV), and a solution dedicated to urban logistics and Last Mile delivery. Designed to meet the rising need foreffective and sustainable transportation within the urban setting, it is clearly adjusted to promote commercial purposes within highly populated urban areas.
JEM TEZ can have a certified range of more than 300 km, so its application in intra-city activities is highly feasible. Its True Range of 190 km makes it deliver the same performance regularly in normal conditions of use. The eLCV boasts a powerful 80 kW peak motor that makes transportation of loads just that much easier since it will be able to handle steeper inclines with its 23% gradeability.
Through this launch, Jupiter Electric Mobility will address the changing demands of organizations in need of zero-emission transport as well as contribute to the larger objective of electrifying India commercial vehicle industry.
