Lineage Power Pvt Ltd, the energy storage arm and material subsidiary of Pace Digitek Limited, has announced the delivery of its 100th containerized Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The achievement marks an important milestone in the company’s growing energy storage operations.
The containerized BESS units are manufactured at Lineage Power’s facility in the Bidadi Industrial Area near Bengaluru. These systems are designed for grid-scale applications and support energy storage, renewable energy integration, and grid stability projects across India.
Company officials said the milestone reflects the company’s expanding execution footprint in containerized BESS solutions, especially at a time when energy storage is becoming a critical part of grid infrastructure.
Strong Project Portfolio
Pace Digitek’s energy segment includes several major utility-scale projects. These include the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) 600 MW/1,200 MWh standalone BESS initiative and the Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) 250 MW solar project integrated with 1.1 GWh of BESS capacity.
In addition to these large-scale projects, the company has secured multiple large DC and containerized orders from public and private sector clients.
Leadership Commentary
Commenting on the milestone, Venugopal Rao Maddisetty, Chairman and Managing Director of Pace Digitek, said, “The delivery of our 100th containerized BESS system represents an important operational milestone and reflects the scale-up of our energy storage platform. As energy storage becomes increasingly integral to grid reliability and renewable integration, we are strengthening our integrated manufacturing capabilities to support reliable large-scale deployment, while maintaining disciplined execution and high-quality standards.”
