LNK Energy, a next-generation integrated clean energy platform, has officially commenced operations with an initial investment of ₹10,000 crore over the next five years. The company aims to drive India’s clean energy transition through advanced manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable energy generation.
Flagship Solar Manufacturing Project
As its first major initiative, LNK Energy announced the establishment of a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production, spread over 60 acres in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The project, launched under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government, will leverage advanced technologies and global best practices to produce high-efficiency solar cells and modules.
Over time, LNK Energy plans to expand production into related components, including junction boxes, battery platforms, and energy storage systems, strengthening India’s domestic clean energy ecosystem.
Expansion into Green Fuels and Renewable Power
Following the manufacturing setup, LNK Energy intends to venture into the green fuels sector, with a focus on green hydrogen to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries. In parallel, the company will develop a renewable energy generation portfolio, operating as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and through hybrid open access solutions that integrate solar, storage, and other renewable sources, creating a fully integrated clean energy platform.
Founders’ Vision and Statements
Paritosh Ladhani, Co-Founder, LNK Energy stated: “Having built large, complex manufacturing and supply-chain businesses over decades, we strongly believe that scale, quality, and execution discipline are non-negotiable. LNK Energy brings that same institutional mindset to clean energy manufacturing, with a commitment to global standards.”
Dr. Kushagra Nandan, Co-Founder, LNK Energy added: “At a time when energy security, industrial self-reliance, and decarbonisation are national priorities, LNK Energy has been conceived as a long-term institution rather than a short-cycle opportunity. We plan to combine scale, technology depth, and capital discipline to build long-term value.”
Varun Karad, Co-Founder, LNK Energy remarked: “The future of energy lies in integration where manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable power work together. LNK Energy is structured to address this convergence using advanced technologies to deliver reliable, scalable, and sustainable solutions.”
Backed by experienced entrepreneurs, LNK Energy emphasizes disciplined execution, strong governance, and long-term impact. The company aims to accelerate India’s energy transition while supporting sustainable industrial growth and energy security.
