Maxvolt Energy Industries, headquartered in Ghaziabad, is set to open a new lithium battery recycling center in Delhi NCR or Western Uttar Pradesh. The firm is right now purchasing land in the region, and it will total over 22,000 to 25,000 square meters in size. Since the new plant will be placed near Maxvolt’s unit for battery manufacturing in Ghaziabad, it will make the supply chains and operations stronger and easier to manage.
As Chief Business Officer and CEO of Maxvolt Energy, Satendra Shukla explained that the facility will assist in recycling valuable resources, lower the environmental impact, and strengthen India’s EV and ESS development.
Maxvolt takes the lead in returning batteries across the country and reusing them as part of its key business activities. This expansion forms part of Phase 2 in the company’s plan, which also involves making more ESS batteries and those for solar energy and grid storage purposes.
According to Vishal Gupta, the future benefits those businesses that grow responsibly through invention. Not only does Maxvolt supply clean energy solutions, but it also makes sure they won’t become waste in the next phase. The upcoming plan is to follow international standards in battery recycling and make India less dependent on others for important energy materials.
Maxvolt saw revenue of INR 107 crore in the financial year 2024-25 using an integrated approach that covers production, reuse, and recycling. Active balancer systems, advanced thermal management, and smart battery control are included in the batteries that the company manufactures.
