Ashwani Dhiman

Microtek International Pvt Ltd has appointed Ashwani Dhiman as Assistant General Manager (AGM), strengthening its leadership team in the rapidly expanding lithium-ion battery and energy storage systems (ESS) segment. The appointment comes as the company continues to scale its presence in power electronics, e-mobility solutions, and advanced energy storage technologies in line with India’s growing clean energy transition.

Dhiman brings over 14 years of experience in lithium-ion batteries, electric mobility, energy storage systems, product development, and quality management. Prior to joining Microtek, he worked as a Senior Manager at Livguard Energy Technology Private Limited, where he was responsible for quality operations at a lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. His expertise covers manufacturing quality systems, product reliability, and large-scale production processes in the battery sector.

Throughout his career, he has held key technical and leadership roles at organisations including IOC Phinergy Private Limited, OPG Mobility (formerly Okaya EV), Okaya Power Group, CTECH Energy Private Limited, and Coslight India Telecom Pvt Ltd. His experience spans across battery research and development, product engineering, quality assurance, and energy storage system integration.

At Microtek, Dhiman is expected to contribute significantly to strengthening the company’s R&D capabilities, enhancing product quality standards, and supporting the development of next-generation lithium-ion battery and energy storage solutions. His appointment is aligned with Microtek’s strategy to expand its footprint in the fast-growing energy storage market driven by rising demand from electric vehicles, renewable energy integration, and backup power applications.

The move reflects Microtek’s focus on building strong technical leadership as it positions itself for growth in India’s evolving clean energy ecosystem. With increasing adoption of battery-based storage solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial segments, the company aims to leverage Dhiman’s expertise to improve innovation, reliability, and competitiveness in its product portfolio.
