Mobec’s Energy Storage Solutions Get a Green Signal from India’s Auto Giants through Oil Lube Systems

With India witnessing a massive surge in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, Mobec.io (Mobec Innovation), one of the frontrunners in mobile and modular EV infrastructure, has announced a significant step with its Mobec Energy Storage Solutions having received the green signal from Oil Lube Systems, a pioneer in replacing traditional gensets for India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer and the third-largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India.

As of mid-2025, India recorded over 4.5 million EVs on its roads—a sharp year-on-year increase driven by favorable government policies, increasing climate awareness, and a robust shift in consumer preferences. Strengthening this momentum, Mobec’s tie-up with Oil Lube Systems shall jointly reaffirm the need for scalable, tech-enabled charging and storage ecosystems. At the beginning of this year, at the Bharat Mobility Expo, the Service on Wheels platform saw an affirmation of product-market fit for the organization’s Energy Storage Solutions.

This collaboration also brings a strategic advantage: by replacing diesel gensets with clean, mobile energy storage solutions, Mobec and Oil Lube Systems are helping OEMs, fleet operators, and service networks cut emissions while ensuring reliable power availability. Oil Lube Systems is a trusted partner to leading brands like Maruti Suzuki and NEXA. This positions Mobec’s solutions not just as a charging infrastructure but as a sustainable backbone that complements India’s rapid EV adoption.

“We’re not just building solutions—we’re powering the EV revolution.” said Harry Bajaj, Founder & CEO, Mobec Innovation. “This strategic way forward underscores the industry’s belief in our commitment to scalable, distributed, and user-first energy innovations. We are committed to bridging the industry requirements through continuous R&D and innovations.”

Their mobile and modular energy solutions are designed to tackle India’s EV charging accessibility issues. By offering flexible alternatives to fixed charging infrastructure, Mobec supports OEMs, fleet operators, logistics networks, and service providers with reliable, scalable options. These systems help reduce the need for heavy upfront infrastructure investment and are powered by clean energy, aligning with the commitment of global net-zero transportation through sustainable, tech-enabled models.

As India moves toward its goal of 30% EV adoption by 2030, the demand for adaptable and widely deployable energy solutions continues to grow. The collaboration with leading automakers signals a strong industry shift toward flexible energy infrastructure—reinforcing the backbone of EV adoption with consistent, accessible, and future-ready power solutions.
