    NLC India Commissions First Phase of 300 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

    NLC India Commissions First Phase of 300 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

    NLC India has declared that it has contracted the first stage of a 300 MW solar power plant in Rajasthan. Through this announcement, the government-owned company has announced the commercial operation of this phase of this project.

    In an exchange filing, the Navratna mentioned that the 300 MW Solar Power Project of the Company, which has a capacity of 52.83 MW, has been commissioned and declared commercially operational at Barsingsar, Bikaner, Rajasthan.

    The company affirmed that the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation Limited had given the company the same commissioning certificate on 26th August, 2025.

    Looking at the performance of the company in the last quarter, the government-owned company registered an increase in net profit of 42.7% year-on-year (YoY) with 798 crore in the first quarter. In the same quarter of the preceding fiscal year, NLC India registered 559 crores as a net profit.

    As we consider the bottom line values, it was seen that the revenue of the company through operations was improved to 3826 crore as compared to 3378 crore. This was a 13.2 percent increase in its revenue figure year-on-year.

    The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) at NLC India have decreased by 13.6 percent in the first quarter of this fiscal year compared to 1082 crore in the first quarter of last fiscal year.

    The EBITDA margin was 24.4 percent in the reporting period versus 32 percent in the same period in the last fiscal year.

    Taking a glance at the performance of the company in Dalal Street, it is observed that the company experienced an increase of 3.51, which is 1.51 percent, in the trading session on Tuesday. During the last month, the company stocks have increasedby 0.70, thus putting the share value at 236.04 per share.
