    NTPC REL and GEDA Sign MoU to Develop 300 MW Renewable Energy Projects in Goa

    NTPC REL commissions a 212.5 MW solar project and 52.8 MW wind capacity in Gujarat, advancing its clean energy mission.

    NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) to develop 300 MW or more of renewable energy projects with/without energy storage in the state of Goa.

    This MoU was signed on the 18th of July, 2025 between the Managing Director of GEDA, Gauresh Ashok Pilgaonkar and Pushpendra Tyagi, who is the CFO of NTPC REL in the presence of the Honorable Chief Minister of Goa and other senior officials.

    The partnership is meant to bolster the state with renewable energy generation and help India achieve its clean energy initiatives.
