Pace Digitek Ltd, through its subsidiary Lineage Power Private Limited, has secured an advance purchase order worth ₹94.35 crore (including GST) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) for high-performance lithium-ion battery systems. The order falls under domestic procurement and supports telecom infrastructure, highlighting the company’s growing footprint in energy storage and power solutions.
The contract involves the supply of 25,000 Basic 100 AH/48V Li-ion Battery Modules equipped with Battery Management Systems (BMS) along with all necessary accessories for the battery sets. In addition, 2,500 IP55 racks will be supplied to house eight 48V/100AH modules each, including required accessories such as 10-metre RJ45 cables to connect the master BMS with SMPS PP-CSU.
The agreement also covers a five-year annual maintenance contract following a five-year warranty for the battery modules and associated accessories. The execution period for the contract is five months from the date of receipt of the purchase order. The company clarified that the order does not involve related-party transactions, and neither the promoter nor promoter group has any interest in BSNL.
Commenting on the development, a spokesperson from Pace Digitek stated, “This significant order win reinforces our leadership in energy storage and high-performance battery solutions. It demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale, precision-engineered Li-ion battery systems for critical infrastructure applications, including telecom.”
This order adds to Lineage Power’s expanding portfolio of energy storage projects. In recent months, the company has secured multiple high-value orders, including:
- ₹997.1 million order from Advait Greenergy for LFP-based BESS
- ₹199.42 crore contract from L&T Construction for liquid-cooled LiFePO₄ BESS containers in Bihar
- ₹1,159.31 crore order from SECI for a 600 MW/1,200 MWh BESS DC package
Earlier in June 2025, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi inaugurated Pace Digitek’s 5 GWh BESS manufacturing facility at the Bidadi Industrial Area, Bengaluru, featuring a fully automated cell-to-pack assembly line for high-quality production with minimal human intervention.
This BSNL order reflects the company’s strong capabilities in telecom and industrial energy storage solutions, consolidating its position as a leading player in India’s lithium-ion battery and BESS market.
