Qingna Technology's Intelligent Factory Officially Begins Operations, Ushering in a New Era for the Sodium-ion Battery Industry

On May 26, 2025, Qingna Technology marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its 10GWh Phase I intelligent factory dedicated to large cylindrical sodium-ion batteries. Coinciding with this, the 2025 Sodium-ion Battery Industry Ecosystem Entrepreneur Summit was held under the theme, “A New Era of Green Sodium-ion Batteries, A New Engine for Intelligent Manufacturing Industry.” The event drew notable participation from government officials, industry experts, and business leaders, all eager to witness and discuss the industry’s evolving landscape.

Inauguration Ceremony: A Leap in Production Capacity
The morning session centered on the official launch of Qingna’s intelligent facility. The event was inaugurated in an enthusiastic atmosphere, with speeches from Zhang Yongguo (Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Economic Development Zone) and Min Yulin (Dean, School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering, Shanghai University of Electric Power), expressing strong support for Qingna’s innovations.

Key industry figures, including Jiang Shang of Jiangsu Jinpaike New Energy and Guan Yunlong of Easpring Technology, conveyed their optimism and confidence in Qingna’s role within the sodium-ion battery supply chain.

A major highlight was the signing ceremony, where Qingna entered strategic agreements with companies such as Guangdong Maikesheng Electronics and Shenzhen Zhengyong Battery Energy, reinforcing its industrial ecosystem and development momentum.

Chairman Wang Wenwu recounted Qingna’s journey, highlighting achievements in R&D and commercialization of sodium-ion battery technologies. With the activation of the symbolic golden push rod, the factory officially commenced production—met with enthusiastic applause. Attendees were given guided tours of the high-tech production line, showcasing Qingna’s advanced manufacturing capabilities.

Industry Summit: Charting the Future Together
The afternoon transitioned to the 2025 Sodium-ion Battery Industry Ecosystem Entrepreneur Summit at the Guangde Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. An investment seminar opened the session, presenting local policy incentives and industrial advantages that piqued strong interest among attending enterprises.

The summit also featured expert presentations from leading figures such as Chen Yunji (Executive Dean, Beijing Graphene Technology Institute and CTO of Qingna) and Chen Suli (Associate Professor, Jiangnan University), who delved into R&D progress, application scenarios, and industry trends for sodium-ion batteries.

The event concluded with the official unveiling of Qingna’s refreshed brand identity. Technical Director Cao Qifei presented the brand’s new image and strategic roadmap, reinforcing Qingna’s vision and industry presence.

This event not only marked a pivotal development in Qingna’s growth but also provided an open platform for collaboration across the sodium-ion battery sector. It set the stage for future innovation, commercial scaling, and the establishment of industry standards—advancing the broader goals of new energy adoption and carbon neutrality. With ongoing cooperation among key stakeholders, the sodium-ion battery industry is poised for a promising future.
