Ramayanam Peddanna Appointed Chief Business Officer & Senior Vice President at Adani Power

Adani Power Limited has appointed Ramayanam Peddanna as its Chief Business Officer (CBO) & Senior Vice President, further strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in India’s power sector.

Adani Power Limited, a part of the Adani Group, is India’s largest private thermal power producer. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company operates more than 18.15 GW of installed power generation capacity across 13 power plants located in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu. The company plays a vital role in meeting India’s growing electricity demand while focusing on operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainable growth.

Ramayanam Peddanna brings with him nearly three decades of rich experience in the power and energy sector. He is widely recognized for his expertise in leading large-scale thermal power operations, driving business transformation, improving plant performance, and delivering operational excellence across some of India’s largest power generation facilities. Over the course of his career, he has successfully managed complex operations, implemented strategic initiatives, and consistently enhanced business performance through process optimization and efficient asset management.

Before joining Adani Power, Peddanna spent nearly 18 years with JSW Energy Limited, one of India’s leading private-sector power producers. During his long tenure, he held key leadership roles and made significant contributions to plant operations, project commissioning, turnaround management, operational improvement, and the execution of large-scale power generation projects. His efforts were instrumental in improving operational efficiency, increasing plant availability, and strengthening overall business performance.

With his extensive industry knowledge, strategic leadership, and proven track record in the energy sector, Ramayanam Peddanna is expected to play a key role in supporting Adani Power’s long-term growth strategy, enhancing operational excellence, and driving the company’s future business objectives.
