RenewSys India has formalised an agreement with ENGIE for the supply of 125 MWp of TOPCon solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The deliveries under the contract are scheduled to take place between February 2026 and June 2026.
The modules will be deployed at ENGIE’s solar power project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The project forms part of ENGIE’s expanding renewable energy portfolio in India and is expected to contribute to the company’s clean energy capacity addition in the country.
High-Efficiency Modules for High-Temperature Performance
As part of the agreement, RenewSys will supply its 132X G12R TOPCon glass-to-glass solar modules. These modules are engineered to deliver high efficiency while ensuring strong performance in high-temperature conditions. According to the company, the modules are designed with a low temperature coefficient, which helps reduce power loss during elevated temperatures. This feature supports consistent electricity generation and enhances overall energy yield throughout the operational life of the project.
Commenting on the partnership, Avinash Hiranandani, vice chairman and managing director, RenewSys, said, “India’s solar sector continues to scale rapidly, making the quality and reliability of deployed technology more critical than ever. Our collaboration with ENGIE reflects a shared focus on long-term performance and technological excellence. By supplying advanced TOPCon modules manufactured in India, we are proud to contribute to the creation of resilient solar assets that support the nation’s clean energy ambitions.”
Expanding Manufacturing Capabilities
RenewSys operates as an integrated manufacturer of solar PV modules with an installed capacity of 5.5 GW. In addition to module manufacturing, the company produces key components such as encapsulants with a capacity of 9 GW and backsheets with a capacity of 4 GW. It is also in the process of installing a new high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing line with an annual capacity of 2.5 GW.
Headquartered in Mumbai, RenewSys is the renewable energy arm of the ENPEE Group and continues to expand its manufacturing footprint to support India’s growing solar market.
