Vayona Energy, a leading wind turbine original equipment manufacturer (OEM) operating across India and South Asia, has inked a 702 MW wind power supply agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited. The deal will see Vayona supply 195 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines for multiple projects across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu, collectively adding 702 MW to India’s wind energy capacity.
The agreement strengthens Tata Power Renewable Energy’s wind portfolio, which now exceeds 2 GW across operational assets and projects under development.
