REPT BATTERO Energy Co., Ltd. (REPT BATTERO) and Spanish power technology company INGETEAM POWER TECHNOLOGY S.A. (Ingeteam) have signed a global strategic Memorandum of Understanding (M Energy StorageOU) aimed at integrating their core technological strengths to provide high-performance energy storage system (ESS) solutions to the international market.
Under the agreement, REPT BATTERO will leverage its expertise in energy storage products, combining it with Ingeteam’s leadership in power conversion and inverter technologies. The two companies will focus on key markets including Australia, the USA, the UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany, and will actively promote joint brand expansion. They will also explore cooperation opportunities covering utility-scale energy storage, providing global customers with high-quality, safe, and reliable clean energy solutions.
REPT BATTERO emphasizes uncompromising safety in its products. According to company officials, “Leveraging a ‘Thermal-Electric Separation + Arc Protection’ architecture, our systems have passed the rigorous CSA/ANSI C800 large-scale fire test, setting the industry benchmark for safety performance,” said a REPT BATTERO spokesperson. The systems also feature exceptional compatibility, seamless integration with mainstream Power Conversion System (PCS) hardware, flexible wiring configurations, and IP55 protection and C5 corrosion resistance, allowing operation in harsh environments. “Integrated with Active Balancing Technology, the systems deliver efficient and reliable energy storage solutions at an optimal lifecycle cost for customers,” the spokesperson added.
Ingeteam, with more than 4.2 GW / 14.7 GWh of BESS projects, has established itself as a strategic partner globally, recognized for non-derated Grid Forming capabilities. These capabilities allow inverters to function as synchronous generators, providing grid stability, synthetic inertia, and regulation capacity. The company also brings deep expertise in control electronics and SCADA systems for wind, solar PV, and BESS plants.
This strategic partnership represents a new phase of collaborative development in the global energy storage sector.
