Roshni Renewable LLP, a new venture backed by experienced professionals from both Valco, one of the top 10 aluminium industries in India, and Solidus Techno Power Private Limited, a premier EPC company in Punjab, has launched a significant initiative to create a giga-scale solar module manufacturing facility in Punjab.
With an initial production capacity of 1.8 GW, this first-of-its-kind project represents a major milestone in building the industrial ecosystem in Punjab while supporting India’s renewable energy goals. The advanced and fully automated manufacturing plant will be world-class and will conform to international manufacturing standards, create significant job opportunities, and drive sustainable growth in the region.
The manufacturing line will be built in collaboration with Jinchen, India’s most trusted supplier of the solar module manufacturing line. The strategic partnership between Roshni Renewable and Jinchen was established at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo.
“We are proud to bring Punjab’s first solar manufacturing line in partnership with Jinchen,” said Mr. Ajay Gupta, representing Roshni Renewable. “This initiative not only supports India’s clean energy mission but also strengthens Punjab’s industrial future by creating quality employment opportunities and advancing renewable energy manufacturing capabilities.”
Aligned with the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative, the project will significantly reduce dependence on imported solar components and help position India as a self-reliant clean energy supplier.
Roshni Renewable LLP is committed to fostering the growth of the renewable energy sector and advancing India’s journey toward sustainable and self-sufficient power generation.
