Deriva Energy, LLC, a major renewable power producer, owner, and operator in the United States, introduced Russell Young as its new chief operating officer. He will be in charge of Deriva’s operational strategy, which will emphasize capability scaling, performance optimization, and long-term value delivery via innovation and teamwork.
Young joins Deriva with over thirty years of senior leadership expertise in renewable operations, including wind, solar, and energy storage, as well as the production of renewable equipment. He most recently worked at Clearway Energy Group as the Managing Director of Technical Services. He has previously served in a number of high-level positions at ENGIE North America, including Vice President of Operations for Renewables in the United States and Canada. Young’s expertise with top equipment manufacturers including GE, Vestas, and ABB PowerOne also adds significant value to Deriva.
