Serentica Renewables Appoints Anil Kumar Singh as Director

Serentica Renewables Appoints Anil Kumar Singh as Director

Serentica Renewables, a leading renewable energy provider in India, has announced the appointment of Anil Kumar Singh as Director – Operations. In this role, Anil will report to Akshay Hiranandani, Chief Executive Officer, and will be based out of the company’s Mumbai office.

Anil brings with him over 33 years of diverse experience in ports, cement, petrochemicals, thermal power, electricity distribution, telecom, and renewables. In his previous assignments, he has worked with renowned organizations such as Tata Power, Tata Teleservices, and Tata Power Delhi Distribution, where he played key roles in leading large-scale operational and technical initiatives. Before joining Serentica, Anil was associated with Adani Green Energy Limited as Chief Project Officer, leading its asset management, operations, and project functions.

A seasoned professional, Anil has extensive expertise in managing end-to-end operational excellence, process optimization, and large-scale infrastructure execution. His leadership will be instrumental in strengthening Serentica’s mission to accelerate India’s energy transition and strengthen its renewable power portfolio.

Commenting on the appointment, Akshay Hiranandani, CEO, Serentica Renewables, said, “Anil’s in-depth expertise in large-scale project execution and operational leadership comes at a pivotal time for Serentica, as we scale our portfolio to serve India’s hard-to-abate industries. His strong track record in building operational excellence across the renewable value chain will strengthen our execution capabilities and support our mission of delivering reliable, round-the-clock green energy to enable industrial decarbonization.”

Expressing enthusiasm about his new role, Anil Kumar Singh said, “I am excited to join Serentica at a time when supplying green energy is becoming critical to India’s industrial growth story. Serentica is playing a pivotal role in decarbonizing hard-to-abate sectors, and I look forward to contributing to its mission of enabling sustainable and resilient industrial progress.”

Anil holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from IIT Roorkee and an MBA in finance from FMS, Delhi.
