Solidus Techno Power Commissions North India’s Largest Solar Car Parking Project in Chandigarh

Solidus Techno Power Private Limited has announced that it has successfully opened North India’s largest solar car parking lot in Chandigarh. This strengthens the company’s role in promoting the use of renewable energy in the region. The project shows that the company is becoming more interested in combining clean energy production with useful infrastructure solutions.

The newly installed solar carports are designed to serve a dual purpose providing shaded parking while generating significant solar power supporting India’s long-term clean energy goals and contributing to a more sustainable urban environment.

CREST Car Parking Project Delivers 1 MW Solar Capacity

Solidus Techno Power has put in a solar carport system at the CREST Car Parking facility in Chandigarh that can make 1 MW of solar power every year. This output is about 1.5 million units of electricity, which is enough to power thousands of clean and sustainable trips every year.

The installation shows how public infrastructure can be turned into a renewable energy asset without needing more land, and it also makes parking more convenient by providing shade.

Neelam Hospital Solar Carport Supports Clean Healthcare Energy

In addition to the CREST project, Solidus Techno Power has also completed a solar car parking installation at Neelam Hospital, Chandigarh. This system generates 600 kW of solar power annually, translating to nearly 900,000 units of clean electricity each year.

By integrating solar energy into hospital infrastructure, the project supports healthcare operations with reliable, clean power while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.

Supporting India’s Clean Energy Vision

Both projects fit with India’s Clean Energy Mission 2070, which shows how new solar technologies can be used in many areas, including healthcare, public services, and urban development. The solar carports help lower emissions and make better use of space in crowded cities.

Solidus Techno Power is growing its presence in more and more industries and institutions by installing solar panels that are both environmentally friendly and useful in the real world.

Driving a Greener Future for Punjab and Beyond

Solidus Techno Power is showing its dedication to making Punjab and the surrounding areas’ energy future greener, smarter, and more resilient with these landmark installations in Chandigarh. The company’s growing portfolio shows that they want to help India move to clean energy faster by offering practical, scalable solar solutions.
