Solis, a global solar inverter manufacturer, has marked 10 years of operations in India in 2026, reaching 10 GW in cumulative shipments in the country. The milestone highlights the company’s growth in the Indian solar market and its plans to expand its portfolio beyond solar inverters into integrated solar and energy storage solutions.
The company celebrated the occasion with its team and industry partners in Delhi during a technology training session focused on Energy Storage Systems (ESS), emerging technologies and changing industry trends. The gathering also provided an opportunity for knowledge sharing, collaboration and discussions on the evolving requirements of India’s renewable energy sector.
Solis Expands Its Energy Storage Portfolio
As India increases its adoption of renewable energy, energy storage is becoming increasingly important for managing variable solar power generation and meeting electricity demand. Solis is expanding its offerings to address these needs through integrated solar-plus-storage solutions.
The company highlighted its SolisStorage EverCore commercial and industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System, along with its wider energy storage portfolio. These solutions are aimed at helping businesses manage their energy requirements through more flexible solar and storage systems.
The expansion reflects a broader shift in the renewable energy industry, where companies are increasingly combining solar generation with battery storage to improve energy management and make better use of generated electricity.

A Decade of Growth and Partnerships
Solis attributed its progress in India to collaboration with distributors, installers, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partners, and customers. The company said its decade-long journey has been supported by reliable technology, industry partnerships and continued local support.
The Delhi training session also focused on developments in energy storage technology and changing market requirements. Such sessions provide opportunities for industry professionals to understand new solutions, exchange technical knowledge and strengthen cooperation as the market evolves.
Focus on the Next Phase of Growth
With 10 GW in cumulative shipments achieved in India, Solis is looking to build on its existing presence by expanding its technology portfolio and strengthening its support for local partners.
The company said it would continue investing in technology, manufacturing and local support while creating further opportunities for its partners across India. Its growing focus on integrated solar and storage solutions comes as businesses increasingly explore ways to improve energy flexibility and manage electricity consumption.
Solis’ 10-year milestone reflects its development in India’s solar inverter market, while its expanding energy storage portfolio signals its intention to participate in the next phase of the country’s renewable energy growth.
