Tata Power Expands EV Charging Network in Karnataka

Tata Power expands EZ Charge EV charging network is helping to propel the expansion of sustainable transportation in Karnataka.

Tata Power expands actively supporting Karnataka’s shift to clean and efficient transportation by placing over 220 charging stations strategically throughout the state. These charging stations provide an easy-to-use charging experience for electric vehicle users by utilising RFID cards to facilitate transactions.

Major highways linking Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Davangere, and Mysuru are covered by the charging infrastructure, which is also present at well-known tourist locations like Chikmagalur and Coorg. EZ Charge stations are also available in major cities including Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubli, Belgaum, Gulbarga, and Davangere. These points are positioned in prominent public areas like hotels and business buildings.

In an effort to reduce charging times and improve accessibility for electric vehicle users in the capital city of Bengaluru, Tata Power expands more than 150 charging stations in important suburbs like Devanahalli and Electronic City.

The company has forged collaborations with renowned builders and societies like Brigade Gardenia and Divyashree Elan Homes, extending its charging network to residential complexes and commercial complexes. Collaborations with entities like Decathlon and Titan further reinforce Tata Power’s presence in Karnataka’s EV charging landscape.

Aligned with Karnataka’s progressive stance on electric mobility, Tata Power expands to support the state government’s visionary objectives. By strategically placing charging points and forming comprehensive networks, Tata Power aims to accelerate adoption by electric vehicle users and position Karnataka as a leader in sustainable transportation nationwide.

Tata Power expands its extensive EZ Charge network, spanning 530 cities and towns, including 86,000 home chargers, 5,300 public charging points, and 850 strategically positioned bus-charging stations. With a strong presence in diverse locations such as hotels, malls, offices, and residential complexes, Tata Power plays a pivotal role in driving e-mobility adoption across India.
