    Tata Power Installs EV Charging Stations in Eastern Uttar Pradesh

    Tata Power Installs EV Charging Stations in Eastern Uttar Pradesh

    In Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Tata Power has opened new EV charging stations. By upgrading the route from Ballia to Lucknow and enhancing accessibility between important cities like Sultanpur, Ballia, and Gorakhpur, the projects hope to improve EV connectivity throughout the area. This expansion is part of Tata Power’s larger strategy to create a robust and sustainable EV ecosystem, promoting eco-friendly transportation options across the region.

    The Sarvodya Digital Library in Azamgarh and Puneet Auto Sales in Ballia are going to operate the first two 30kW chargers in the new network. For EV users traveling 130 kilometers, these spots are essential stops. The corridor is also completed by a 60kW fast charger at Shalimar Corporate Park in Lucknow and a 30kW charger at Motel Nh56 in Sultanpur, expanding EV customers’ travel possibilities. This infrastructure development will significantly reduce range anxiety and encourage more people to adopt electric vehicles in the state.

    By filling the infrastructure gap and growing its network of EZ Charges, this effort demonstrates Tata Power’s dedication to preparing India for EVs. Tata Power hopes to satisfy the nation’s increasing demand for electric vehicles by installing over 100,000 home chargers and more than 5,500 charging stations in 550 towns. Major cities including Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai are served by the network, which also has more than 1,100 bus charging stations.
