Terra Charge Appoints Go Suzuki As Its New MD

Terra Charge has appointed Go Suzuki as its new Managing Director in India. Go has over 13 years of experience in business development, global operations, and mergers and acquisitions, making him suitable to lead the vertical in the $23.38 billion EV ecosystem. In his new role, he will oversee the company’s daily operations, explore strategic partnerships, and drive innovation in Terra’s charging infrastructure products and services. Under his leadership, Terra Charge will focus on forging strategic partnerships with residential societies, RWAs, and commercial properties across India. The company plans to leverage the newly appointed MD’s expertise to develop shared home charging and expand its public network to make charging more accessible.

Managing Director of Terra Charge, Go Suzuki, stated, “India is a key market for Terra and has the potential to lead the electric vehicle revolution in Asia. As the MD of the company, I want to tap into this growth potential and support the sector through innovation in chargers and infrastructure. So, I take this opportunity to welcome mutually beneficial collaborations with local entities to meet our common goals and promote sustainability.”

Go has previously led Terra Motors Vietnam, where he scaled revenue from $10,000 to $800,000 monthly. Additionally, he was involved with Terra Drone in South America, where he established and led operations across Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. According to a company statement, his international expertise would allow Terra Charge to refine operations in India and form mutually beneficial public-private partnerships and collaborations with government bodies.

Terra Charge is currently exploring advanced data analytics to optimize EV charger placement and is working on integrating smart energy management systems to improve efficiency. The company is also exploring joint ventures and expanding its local leadership team to boost its innovation capabilities and market presence in the EV charging market, which is expected to reach $5695.6 million by 2030.
