Vikram Solar to supply 250 MW of high-efficiency N-type modules to Bondada Group for a major Maharashtra solar project.

Vikram Solar had declared a large supply of solar modules of 250 MW under a major arrangement with Bondada Group. It will be implemented in the project in Maharashtra, and the delivery is expected to start in FY 2025-26.

Vikram Solar will provide its higher-performance N-type modules as an element of the agreement that have been known to exhibit high energy output and great performance. This order also establishes Vikram Solar as one of the leading manufacturers in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) in India.

It is hoped that this project would add significantly to the renewable energy capacity in the state of Maharashtra, help it meet its sustainability objectives, and also minimize the carbon emissions that affect the state. It is also in line with Vikram Solar’s continuing efforts to engage with the overall renewable energy targets to be achieved in India using technology advancements and the increasing manufacturing capacities in the company.

Mr. Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director of Vikram Solar, commented, Every project we deliver is a reflection of the trust our partners place in our technology, performance, and commitment to excellence. As India accelerates its clean energy transition, Vikram Solar remains focused on enabling this momentum with reliable solar solutions, scalable capacity, and consistent execution.”

Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, Bondada Group, said, “With a shared vision of accelerating India’s clean energy transformation, this collaboration with Vikram Solar brings us a step closer to our goal of achieving 10 GW in renewable capacity by 2030. With over 3 GW of projects currently in hand, and more opportunities emerging through trusted partnerships like this, we are confident of delivering purpose-led infrastructure with speed, innovation, and execution excellence.”

Vikram Solar has also recently achieved Top Performer status in Kiwa PVEL’s 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, an eight-time overall and seventh consecutive ranking in the revered annual list.
