Volvo Cars India has unveiled the EX30 electric SUV in India market at an initial price of Rs. 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The price will rise to Rs.41 lakh and the booking will continue until October 19, 2025. EX30 is the third local assembly electric vehicle of Volvo and it is assembled at the Hosakote facility, which highlights that the company is increasingly committed to electric mobility in India.
Design and Features
- Exterior: EX30 possesses iconic daytime running lights of Volvo (Thor Hammer), clean front grille, cladding, 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, and split LED tail lights. It has a black roof-mounted spoiler which contributes to its sporty appearance.
- Interior: On the inside, the cabin is minimalist in light grey and black theme, with a fixed panoramic sunroof, 2-zone electronic climate control, and power adjustable lumbar-supported seats. The Harman Kardon 1040W nine-speaker system is a high quality audio.
- Safety: EX30 has seven airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 360-degree camera, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to provide greater safety.
Performance and Range
- Battery & Motor: It has a 69 kWh lithium-ion battery and a rear-axle motor.
- Power Output: The motor has a power output of 268 bhp and 343 Nm of torque.
- Acceleration: The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.
- Top Speed: This is electronically set to 180 km/h.
- Range: Claims a WLTP-range of 480 km.

Orders of the Volvo EX30 EV will start in early November 2025, and orders are already open. The introductory pricing can be used by the customers who book till the 19th of October.
