Waaree Energies Limited has announced that it has received a new order to supply 500 MW of solar modules to a domestic solar power developer operating as an Independent Power Producer (IPP). The company disclosed the development on February 23, 2026.
Disclosure Under SEBI Regulations
The announcement was made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, commonly referred to as the SEBI Listing Regulations. The disclosure was read in conjunction with the applicable SEBI circular dated November 11, 2024.
The company confirmed that the regulatory filing has been carried out in compliance with the prescribed disclosure norms applicable to listed entities.
Order Scope and Execution Timeline
According to the details provided, the contract involves a one-time supply of 500 MW of solar modules. The execution of the order is scheduled during the financial year 2026–27. The commercial scope of the agreement includes the complete delivery of the specified module capacity within the agreed timeframe.
Waaree Energies stated that the awarding entity is a domestic company engaged in the business of independent power production. The name of the developer was not disclosed.
No Related Party Involvement
The company clarified that neither its promoter nor members of the promoter group hold any interest in the entity that awarded the contract. It further confirmed that the transaction does not qualify as a related party transaction under applicable regulations.
